Crisp & tender oven baked salmon fillets infused with fresh herbs and ready under 30 minutes.

2lb(approx. 900 g) skin-on salmon fillets
1/3cuplemon juiceor juice from one fresh lemon
2tbspolive oilextra virgin
2clovesgarlicminced (or more to taste)
Salt and black pepper to state
Lay salmon fillets skin side down on non-stick baking pan.
In a small mixing bowl mix olive oil, minced garlic, basil, salt and pepper and cover fillets (by rubbing it with kitchen brush /you fingers).
Let coated salmon fillets sit in the fridge for 10 minutes. (not mandatory, but allows fillets to absorb marinate and become richer in taste).
Take fillets out of fridge and cover cooking pan with aluminum foil. Place in preheated oven and bake until almost done (approx. 10-15 min in my oven). Remove foil for the last 5-7min of baking. Serve while still hot.
Roasting time may vary due to the thickness of your salmon fillets.
